Citizens of this small municipality take great pride in its appearance. This well-kept community became incorporated in April of 1970.
Operating as a "Type B" General law city, Star Harbor has a mayor and five council members serving as their governing officials. A portion of their responsibility lies as overseers of community projects, such as maintenance of the eight miles of streets that serve residents. To help maintain their high standards and quality of life, they have built their own water system for their citizens. Having a police department offers reassurance to citizens concerning their personal safety and the security of their property.

Pull carts are included with daily fees or memberships, parking is ample, and golfers are encouraged to bring your own cart if they'd like or easily walk the nine holes.
